In the Czech Republic, this day has been recognized as the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust and the Day of Prevention of Crimes Against Humanity since 2004. In 2005, United Nations General Assembly declared 27 January as an International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust.<\/p>\n<p>The commemorative meeting will include speeches delivered by the President of the Senate, Milo\u0161 Vystr\u010dil, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Mark\u00e9ta Pekarov\u00e1 Adamov\u00e1, survivor of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, Helga Ho\u0161kov\u00e1 &#8211; Weissov\u00e1, Director of the Museum of Romani Culture in Brno, Jana Horv\u00e1thov\u00e1 and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Holocaust Victims, Michal Kl\u00edma.<\/p>\n<p>With regard to the crisis measures issued by the Government of the Czech Republic, the meeting will be held without participation of the invited guests.
