On 27th January 2010 a commemorative event took place in the Knights’ Hall of the Senate of the Czech Republic. This event is traditionally held under the auspices of the President of the Senate and is attended by the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Government Ministers and Members of the Parliament. The event is organized by the Senate in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, the Foundation for Holocaust Victims, the Federation of Jewish Communities in the Czech Republic and the Jewish Community in Prague. In 2010, addresses were given by Jan Fischer, Prime minister of Czech Republic and Jiří Daníček, President of the Federation of Jewish Communities in the Czech Republic. Photos are by Karel Pazderka.
