The European Days of Jewish Culture 2022: Renewal

The fundamental objective of this European-wide event, which has been organised since 2000, is to highlight the diversity and richness of Judaism and its local, regional and national historical importance, with the firm intention of promoting dialogue, recognition and exchange through conferences, concerts, performances, guided tours and other activities, which take place simultaneously throughout the continent. Fri 2. 9. – Sun 4. 9. 2022, Brno, Štetl fest, Multi-genre festival that gives a glimpse into Jewish culture and history under the subheading “Dignity in Diversity”.

Sunday 4. 9. 2022, 10:00 AM – 04:00 PM, Liberec – Open doors to visit the Jewish cemetery and The Memorial to the Victims of the Shoah, voluntary entrance fee.

Sunday 11. 9. 2022, 03:00 PM, Police synagogue – Concert by Jiří Hošek and Dominika Weiss Hošková.

Tuesday 13. 9. 2022, 04:00 PM, Galerie Špalíček, Prostějov – guided tour of the exhibition “Coming back ubdesirable Patron Bruno Winter”.

Wednesday 21. 9. 2022, 05:00 PM, Liberec synagogue – lecture Jews in Liberec after the World War II.  Lecturer PhDr. Markéta Lhotová, Ph.D.
